The Gap No One in Healthcare AI Is Talking About
We keep talking about AI access and awareness in healthcare. But there's a third gap β the one that's actually putting patients at risk β and almost nobody is naming it.
Physician-led strategy for healthcare providers and health systems β grounded in safety, ethics, and clinical rigor.
Founded by a triple board-certified Pulmonary & Critical Care physician with 15+ years of frontline clinical experience.

The Clinical AI Institute equips physicians and healthcare organizations with structured frameworks for safe, ethical, and transformative AI implementation in clinical practice. Our work is grounded in the lived experience of frontline medicine β not technology marketing or theoretical research.
Dr. Jennifer Obi is not teaching AI as a trend. She is helping physicians lead its responsible integration into healthcare β building the clinical rigor, ethical guardrails, and governance infrastructure that health systems need to move from curiosity to system-level transformation.
The question is no longer whether AI will transform medicine. The question is whether physicians will lead that transformation β or be led by it.β Dr. Jennifer Obi, MD Β· Founder, The Clinical AI Institute

From the Institute
We keep talking about AI access and awareness in healthcare. But there's a third gap β the one that's actually putting patients at risk β and almost nobody is naming it.
Oracle fired thousands of employees this week. The stock went up. Wall Street celebrated. And every hospital administrator in America was quietly taking notes. This is not a Silicon Valley story. It is a healthcare story β about who catches the error when the human is no longer in the room.
AI is already shaping clinical decisions. But when an algorithm influences care and a patient is harmed, who is accountable? Dr. Jennifer Obi makes the case for shared clinical liability β and why the current framework is neither fair nor safe.
